Training sessions at TNAU
COIMBATORE: The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University will offer training in “Bee Keeping” on the 6th of every month at the Department of Entomology.
According to a university release, in the case of the 6th of the month being a Government holiday, the training will be offered on the next working day.
The first training session will begin on May 5.
Aspects
Hands-on training will be imparted on the following aspects: identification of bee colonies and rearing them, artificial group rearing of bees, queen bee rearing and production techniques, natural enemies of bees and their management and Italian bee rearing techniques.
Registration will be on first-come-first-served basis for 30 persons.
Fee
Selection will be confirmed to the candidates. Selected candidates should pay a fee of Rs. 150 on the day of training.
Fee includes lunch.
Interested candidates can register their names in advance by post / phone or e-mail at the Department of Entomology.
